Cocoa shell mulch contains nitrogen, phosphate, and potash, and has a pH of 5.8, and has an approximate fertilizer value of 2.5-1-3. It adds beneficial nutrients to the soil and will not burn vegetation. Apply a one-inch layer for a modern look, concealing soil and adding elegance. This mulch enriches soil and protects against evaporation. In hot and humid climates, or if over-watered, the mulch may develop a harmless mold, which will not damage your plants. Spraying a simple solution of 25% water and 75% white vinegar can kill any mold that appears. Note: This product contains caffeine and theobromine, compounds toxic to dogs. Do not use this product where dogs will be present.
